Hi ladies I'm just wondering how long you waited after miscarrying before starting to try again?

My gp has suggested waiting for a proper period before trying again. I had a natural miscarriage at 12 weeks, after finding out at 9 weeks I had a blighted ovum.

I waited for a cycle then got pregnant again and it ended as a blighted ovum and took.16 months to get this pregnancy

I'm confused was it a mcc or blighted ovum because they are two completely different things.

It doesn't really matter what it was. It was a loss. And you can have a blighted ovum that doesn't miscarry immediately, subsequently resulting in what is described as a mmc. I don't know why you would even ask this question to be honest. Makes no difference.

It was a blighted ovum/ anembryonic pregnancy which I waited to miscarry naturally. No it was not a missed miscarriage..... Which I'm not sure why that diagnosis of a difference matters, when the scan I had was the only scan and all my blood work and everything was normal there is no possible way of knowing when my foetus died, or if there ever was one... I knew my miscarriage was inevitable and whether or not along the way there was a foetus is irrelevant and something I will never ever be able to know. What I do know is I got pregnant and somewhere along the line something went wrong in the whole process of conception, whether that be the foetus dying and being absorbed before 7 weeks, or whether it be on the whole process of splitting into a sac and an embryo and my embryo not taking.... It's irrelevant really, but I chose to wait for nature to take its course.
