I'm the same bbhope very up and down. We had review today, he was pretty honest and isn't that hopeful for us. Reality is setting in he said dh sample didn't look the best and also my egg quality isn't fantastic either. To get the best sperm he did suggest doing the TESA procedure. He will also up my med to 300 and I'll be on Menopur next time. He also gave me a script for Testogel and Melatonin. We won't cycle till Feb/Mar next yr. gl for BT Friday, hope it all goes quick for u

Booboo just wanted to say try the changes your specialist has recommended. I had had 6 unsuccessful attempts using the same protocol each time and was getting nowhere. I asked what we could change, used melatonin and menopur and we had success on that in the first cycle. Now 32 weeks pregnant. My DH also had to have TESA.

Well I have started light bleeding yesterday, don't really know what's going on. I'm just going to wait until Fridays BT to confirm it for me! I have come down with a cold and not feeling the best.

Does any ladies on here do acupuncture during IVF??

    Babygirl, hopefully just implantation bleeding.

I aint expert. If you have trusted acupuncturist, i think it is fine to do acupuncture. Otherwise, they can make the matter worse like my experience. Not worth the risk. I had painful period during the 3 months i did acupuncture. I usually dont have painful period. The first month they prevented me trying because they wanted to get all the "bad thing" out of my body first. Cleansing. Then they claimed that the pain was probably due to that, which to this day i dont believe it. After i stopped acupuncture, i no longer have pain for my period.

Babygirl - just WTD to say not all experiences with acup are bad. For me it fixed an overactive thyroid in 2 mths and was told by drs only western medicine would work. It also eased my period pain, and brought my FSH level down from 20 and was refused the October IVF cycle, to 12 for the November cycle, and first time doing IVF as you know I got my BFP. I honestly believe it has partially been due to weekly acupuncture treatment. I'm still going once a week and feel great. Not for everyone but don't rule it out altogether

Babygirl, Im also a huge believer in Acupuncture. I started with East meets West a few months before my first cycle and got my BFP (also sadly lost that bub the week I stopped going to acupuncture -odd conincendence) I had painful periods from my first 2 months with acuptunture as acupuncture helps thicken your lining (I googled and a thicker lining usually results in a heavier period) I also went back after my MMC and he got my cycle back on track also immediately. Like Roz said its not for everyone but Ill definitely continue to go.

Sleepy Dude, hugs for your DW and yourself. Glad you are looking the postitves of the exp.
