    We got a letter saying Dr Anne Jequier is retiring in mid feb. Anyone got any recommendations for specialists at Concept. We've been happy with the treatment so far/nurses/embryologist. Happy if you want to DM instead of post in thread

    Hi sleepydude, we are also with dr. Jequier and were told at our coordinators meeting that she's retiring. So if this cycle with her doesn't work, we'll also be looking for a new specialist. I would be keen to hear what others have to say. I'd like to stay with concept I think

    @bbhope thank you

    @Nezz79 sorry to hear hun, big hugs and may the new year bring you new blessings

    @SleepyDude we are with Dr Artley he is a new FS at concept, I can't give much advice as I'm a IVF newbie & this is my first cycle. But he is so nice, and bubbly and I get good vibes from him. I have googled him as he is from England. Here is a lil link with some info about him. Good luck

    So sorry to hear Nezz, nice to see you are seeing the positive.
    Does it happen often where the embie doesnt survive the thaw?

    Thanks there is a 20% chance that they don't survive and it's normally on the weakest ones which I think this one was being my last one. I wanted to leave this one too and do a fresh cycle but my DH wanted to use the frozen first so I guess it's just fate. Already looking forward and have made my appointment with FS and then went out shopping to cheer myself up but ended up seeing so many pregnant ladies today so didn't really work but on the bright side I bought a iPad Air!!

    Sorry to hear nezz79. The exact same situation happened to me as well I had to ring my sister who was on her way to pick me up for the procedure and tell her it didn't survive and it was my one and only frozen embryo too. I just wander how common it really is. Are we being told the absolute truth of the chances of success? My FS told me I had a better chance of pregnancy with FET than a fresh cycle? I believe now it's just luck.

    I was told that too about FET but I had 3 frozen and 2 made the thaw but didn't stick and the last one didn't thaw! I will go back to my fresh any day coz that's where I got my DD came from!

    @Becs79 n @Nezz79, I became pregnant with my fresh embryo but miscarriage at week 9 then 2 months after straight to the only frozen embryo teansfer, I did thaw but negative result for the blood test. I was told FET has higher chance for pregnancy but obviously it didn't happen to us(

    The waiting is killing me... The wife has side effects from the Crinone that are making her uncomfortable, so just want the wait over and done with.

    Anyone know how long the BT takes to get results. Is it same day? Finding it impossible to prepare emotionally so just ignoring it and trying to keep busy.
