I have no idea what all that means, nor do I know the difference between a 3 and 5 day transfer, which is better/worse etc. just glad we are still in the game!
3 and 5 day transfers refer to how well the embryo has developed in the lab, some clinics prefer to grow embies out to blasts (5 day transfers) as it means they're stronger. My clinic prefers 3 day transfer as they think the natural environment is best. Lots of bubs are born from 3 day transfers and lots are born from 5 transfers.
The cell division is important the embies are supposed to divide evenly and preferably double each day so by day 3 they're supposed to be 8 cells. Your Embryologist will pick the "best looking" embie to transfer.

But in saying that Ive heard of plenty of stories of the "dodgy" slowish growing embie being the take home bub. My "perfect" 8 cell, no fragmentation embryo ended in a miscarriage so try not to get too caught up in it all.

    Hi,
I can recommend an obs/gynae/fertility doctor in Perth.
Dr Atef Saba, in Duncraig. http://gynae-clinic.com.au
He is a brilliant doctor and the nicest guy you could meet. He has a good track record with fertility problems and also women who've had multiple miscarriages.

I was with Dr. Saba when I was doing ivf treatment at Pivet, I did not have any good experience with him, every time when I went to see him, he never prepare anything ond just flip through the files to find out the result, so I changed to Dr. Rowlands and he is very similar. They don't treat as a patient but as a number. Don't know how long ago was he your doctor, maybe he was a nice n caring doctor before bit not now

Hi everyone. Update from me. Coordinators meeting on Friday went well and we brought home the injections. I start on 200units of Gonal F. Is that a lot/little/average?
AF started yesterday around midday. I'm not sure what counts as day 1 though - yesterday or today, so waiting to call the clinic this morning and find out when to start injections.
    I can't believe it's starting.
    How is everyone else going/feeling?
