Hi hummingbird, no I don't mind you asking ..... It was kinda funny after all I read (about waiting or not after an m/c) - I didn't expect that my ob would suggest that we should. There was nothing extreme or dangerous about my situation - I had a complete miscarriage beginning at around 4 weeks, and had what I considered to be light spotting over the course of maybe 2 1/2 weeks or so. She said that after my hcg levels (had my latest blood test this past Wednesday and ill get the results Monday or Tuesday) return to zero, we should wait for 2 or 3 normal cycles (so that means 2 lol!) before ttc again, just to let my body get back to normal after what it's gone through.

Honestly I'm of two minds about it, because you read and hear stories where people have been told different things, or people have become pregnant pretty much straight away after an m/c and carried their healthy babies to term. I wouldn't have cared for her advice except I trust her......... But I'm not going to be crazy obsessed with trying not to conceive (meaning we've got condoms but if we miss using them occasionally I'm not gonna freak out). We're quite keen to fall pregnant and STAY pregnant, so we know we're able to (every second thing you read about being over 35 is so negative about your chances)!

So ya nothing crazy, thanks for asking. And sorry for your loss as well xx

Thanks little duck & humming bird. (We were both in nov DIG)
Have not long gotten into Sydney to get new car & haven't been so lost in my life helping take my mind off everything. Hate being such an impatient type person. Hopefully days don't drag out & ill have my answers after bloods Monday. Wish my normal dr was treating me though

Oh Jagamoe still so confusing, was hoping it was really strong lines, now not sure what to think. Tomorrows bloods should hopefully shed some light. Glad you made it back safely from your long drive in yucky weather x
