    Sons of Anarchy
    Mad Men
    Dexter
The Tudors (but I'd suggest some back-reading on this so it makes more sense)
Spartacus (it's got lots of sex and stylized violence though... lol)
    Game of Thrones
    Oz
    LOST
An Idiot Abroad (because Karl Pilkington is the funniest man ever... unintentionally)
    The Office (UK)
    Buffy
Supernatural (but the more recent ones are boring IMO)
The Mentalist (but don't just watch ep after ep... break this one up a little)
Here Comes Honey Boo Boo (LOL!)
    Modern Family

Sounds like you have more than enough to work with but here are some shows I absolutely cannot live without!

New girl - makes me laugh till I cry

Pretty little liars - more of a teenage drama but absolutely addictive because you need to keep watching to figure anything out!

American horror story is good if you love a good scare

Smash - if you like broadway musicals, you will love this! (Very different to glee but still a musical show).

My DH suggests 'Spaced' also a British show, the humor is very hit and miss, but it grew on me.
It has Sean Pegg in it, (Sean of the Dead, Star Trek movies, Hot Fuzz)
It's one of the first shows he and other actors got their break. You 'might' recognize some of them in other British TV shows. (Dr Who)
