    I second that. My kids have been sick for four days now and DH can't take time off work as he's the main income earner. We don't have any family around as well. Gives me nightmares as to what we'd do if I worked full time.

    You know what I would LOVE as a working mum? I would love a live in grandparent or if just ONE of mine/partners parents did not work full time or was completely reliable when it came to child minding. Both our mothers work, and although at one point they had committed to helping out a few evenings a week, we quickly found that they did not truly want to.. that is completely their choice. I understand how they feel, being that they aren't young any more, they both work a lot, I don't expect them to want to be permanent babysitters, but man, it would be nice
    also a magical cure for common illnesses would be good lol
