    I think Eve is lovely
    It would be a little too similar if it was Eva but Eve is fine.

    Too close. As PP said, nickname of kief is too much like eve. I wouldn't use eve. Ava, maybe?

    Thanks for all your replies, I wasn't expecting such a positive response. Now I really want to use Eve. I think we'll just have to make sure we don't call Kiefer "Kief".

    I think Eve sounds fine with your DS's name. They don't sound similar at all. Eve is a beautiful name.
