    Default Too similar for siblings?

We've just found out we're expecting a girl. And I've been set on the name Eve since getting pregnant with DS. I'm just starting to wonder though if Eve is going to sound too similar to DS's name which is Kiefer. Opinions please!

I'm going to disagree and say that they are pretty similar. I suppose it depends on what nicknames you call your ds. The issue with similar is when you call out a name & expect one of the children to respond or if someone rings and asks to speak to a particular child (won't be an issue for many years though ), or rings to speak about a particular child. The issue is if your ds is known (or becomes known) as 'Kief', then that sounds very similar to Eve and it could cause some confusion.

They are both lovely names and I'm not saying it would be a disaster, it could be fine, but I think they do sound quite similar.
