Our tank water is pretty brown, I haven't got it tested since we moved in, but I don't trust it 100%. Since we're only temporarily here I just boil it in the electric kettle and put it through a brita jug when cooled. When bub comes I'll then take that water and stove boil it for 5 minutes before giving to bubs.

When I have town water I always drink tap water. It took a while to adjust to the different taste of SW WA tap water from Melbourne water, so used a brita jug for a while when we first moved.

Rain water tanks. It's not plumbed into our house, we have to go outside to get our drinking water.

We are on town water, but the town water, though it won't hurt you, isn't really drinkable.

    Tap water.

My skin would go crazy if we filtered the shower/bath water..it loves the chlorine in the water..it clears my dermatitis.

Tap water. It's the safest most environmentally friendly water. Tank water can be great but I've had some very bad experiences with it (bird poo, dead frogs etc in tank - will never drink that stuff knowingly again!)

Tank water. It's our only choice unless we want to drink our bore water which is ok to shower and wash clothes in but tastes a little bit funny.

I have an awesome water filter cooler/heater. It's great. Put town water through that and makes a big diff to the taste. I would buy bottled water otherwise. Am fussy about taste

How do you find dealing with them? And is it worth the money? The reason I ask is because we having been trying to decide for a while on whether we should get that instead of buying the bottle of Mt Franklin from the shops

Tap water. Don't think twice about it.

All those people that are fussy about taste etc - what do you do when you go to someone else's house and all they have on offer is tap water? Do you not drink it?

Bottled water is the biggest rip off out there - it's more expensive than petrol!!!!

The only times I have bought bottled water is a couple of slabs in preparation for cyclone season.

Adelaide tap water tastes foul. I live in Melbourne and notice a very distinct difference every time I go to Adelaide and drink water there. I cannot drink it.

    Melbourne tap water is great!
