Default Leaking Nappies! They all leak!

DS is 8 weeks, 6 kg and since birth all his nappies leak! All brands! I've tried Huggies, babylove, smugglers, woolies brand. The old Huggies leaked and the new design ones leak as well. They are leaking for wee up the sides where the taps cross over. He is a big boy...4.52kg birth weight I never had this issue with my other two, a DS who was also big and a DD. It is totally doing my head in.

We don't have a Aldi where I live . I keep reading their nappies are good though.

Have you tried a bigger size? They will have more surface absorbency space so will absorb a bit more. ;-)

Am thinking that, but when he was new born within a week i went up a size from newborn size to next size which was up to 8 kg, he was almost 5 kg by then but still leaked. The ones he is in now go up to 8 kg. I thought to go next size but as he's only 7 weeks , I thought the ones going to 11 kg might end up round his chin! Might try though, getting desperate. I'm changing every two hours in the day even when they r not that soaked.

Try Coles Comfy Bots. I was using them before I switched to the Aldi ones and they were good.

Is it that they are too big? When i first went up a size with ds they leaked even when not full but now he has gotten bigger they dont leak (except overnight occassionally when super full).

I had this issue with ds. Make sure they are not too big. At night I would insert an incontenance pad inside his nappy which worked really well.
