Default Pls help!! Desperately need advice!!!

My daughter is 6 months old, and is soy formula-fed.. I have no way to get to a shop whatsoever and no one that can drop formula in for me.. She feeds every four hours.. Would she be too young to have soy milk for the night?! I'm so desperate right now and I feel absolutely horrible.. Due to really bad weather and a cold, we couldn't get out to the shops today but 100% can tomorrow!
if I fed her the milk it'd only be for tonight.. I'm just paranoid about confusing her body and how she may react.....!?!!

I really wish I knew the answer but I have no experience with soy based products but I will say there is some mothers in my play group who on a pinch when they have run out of formula used cows milk, so maybe soy substitution is ok

Apologies in advance if this is silly but is there a customer enquiry line on the formula tin? Maybe they could let you know?

Sorry again if that doesn't help.

What state are you in? In NSW there is a Parent Line that may be able to refer you to a better source of information: 1300 1300 52

Karitane have a care line too, 1300 227 464. I know Tresillian have one too, but I think Karitane were a little bit more helpful with FF bubs.

Otherwise, there is no harm ringing your local Hospital for advice.

    Default Thank you!!

I ended up calling karicare and they said its not ideal but its perfectly fine for the time being - thank you all so much for your help!!
I called the maternal health line here in Victoria to double check as well in the end and bought four tins of formula just so it can't happen again!

We buy our formula by the carton this time around (3rd baby) just so we never have the stress of running out, last time in a pinch we had to use sunshine powdered milk because our local rural hospital told us it was better then cows milk and oh my god never again I still don't know how a 6 month old could turn milk into that!! Lol
