I thought I read somewhere he just needed to move within Australia due to trying to sustain a long distance relationship with his girlfriend... I could be wrong though.

I got a bit teary nearly every time we saw Patrick- I just think that Asher Keddie conveyed the loss and longing so well- obviously we don't see our loved and lost ones as vividly, I took it as artistic license used to convey just how much she's missing him. So much of Nina's character has revolved around her vivid imagination and distracted manner (because she's so focused on what if or I wish scenarios) so it fit.
The orgasm bit with Billie was a bit odd but did fit with their relationship and the TMI dynamic in their family.

Yes, exactly. It's not the same but for the first few years after losing my mum, I would often "see" her in a crowd and start walking towards her only to realise it was someone who looked similar- maybe the same coloured hair or similar build.

I cried every time Patrick came on the screen too. I should have expected it considering her rich fantasies, but because he left to move OS, I didn't!

If he's still here, maybe they can have a Dallas moment and go back to them being on the phone after he got hit by the car and make the rest the fantasy. That would be better for me. Then I could go back to happily perving at him onscreen instead of feeling so sad.

I don't think anything could ever prepare you for it hope you are not too traumatized

Dh decided to poke fun at me Wednesday. "how did you pick 2wks ago about Mick/Billie/Lawrence yet you still refused right to the end of the episode that your boyfriend was going to die"

    Easy, I was in denial
