It was such an awkward and weird scene. And then why on earth would you tell your family about it. It was my only criticism from the show
But that scene is so much of what I don't like about the family. They are so nosy and interfering. They definitely need more interests in their life than Nina.

I find it interesting as my mil writes for TV from time to time and reckons after a watershed event it's really hard to move forward. I'll be interested to see how they progress.

ok thank you....i cannot stand jimmy nor his "headpiece" or his sanctimonious mole of a gf... i cant stand the fact they got knocked up the day of Patricks funeral either BUT EVEN WORSE told Nina so as well..talk about egocentric aholes with IQ's struggling for 3 digits.

i admit..i cried in the patrick scenes a little bit but i must agree i dont know whether it will sustain my interest...

I think they have made an epic mistake in killing off Patrick...

    But, hindsight, eh?

Ps- I still like the proudman family. They make me laugh
I agree. If overseas didn't work for him (which he's on Love Child so clearly didn't) he doesn't get to come back as a ghost. Maybe a flashback here or there, but not a consistent appearance. Never heard of a tv show bringing people back from the dead.

We'll continue to see Patrick until Nina lets him go. I've not experienced the loss Nina has but I imagine how it's playing out with Patrick there in spirit is something people go through in reality sometimes. He's not "back from the dead" as such, but a figment of Nina's imagination. I'm interested to see how it plays out.

I agree, my sister lost her husband earlier this year & I sat there thinking as if! No matter how close you are... It crossed a weird line!

Yes, thanks- that is what I was trying to say!
Nina will imagine Patrick or even just remember him as a way to cope until she moves on.
