Default Starting Solids with 5.5 month old

Today was the first day and have bub some rice cereal at lunch which he took fine however I was thinking what can you give for breakfast other than rice cereal as I feel it's not good for them. He has no teeth and today was the first day. He is breastfed.

My boy loved pureed fruit especially pears. Natural yogurt was also a winner. We then moved onto mashed pumpkin (still a big favorite at 6 1/2 months). He also liked rice cereal with fruit added

Fruit, yogurt, oats made with ebm or another type of milk or water. My DD has a huuuge morning feed, as well as BFing at around 5am, so breakfast will be the last meal I introduce. She'll probably just get porridge made with cows milk and some mashed banana, exactly as her brother has for breakfast.

Make your own cereal/porridge - puffed quinoa ( from health food shops - looks like tiny rice bubbles) mixed with breast milk and mashed pear or banana

From 6 months try eggs - either scrambled or egg pancakes you can cut into finger food - same with homemade pancakes - I make banana ones
