Hey Mummaj nope were about to rent for 6 months first (with a pool) until we work out what we're doing and plus DH needs to do his tax before we can buy. DH is off for work again next month so won't be home much this year and I really want to move to Brisbane or the GC so just weighing up options until the end of the year. Waiting for baby to arrive before we decide. Gold Coast is running on a very high percentage though ❤️ I swear I need to be there it's home for me love it so much

Oh no no no I'm not I'm a Perthy through and through. We just went for a holiday and absolutely loved it. It felt more like home for me than Perth.

    Hi all!

I live in Perth and just started the journey to have a baby on my own! It's an exciting time but a little scary... After my first apt at concept they have said it could be an 18mth wait, anyone have experience there, is it realistic 18mths??

Anyway happy to be here and meet people in similar situations or different

Storm day today! I think I heard some of our roof tiles bouncing around I have seen on Facebook some fences damaged in dawseville and mandurah and a small garden shed or patio down but it doesn't seem too bad so far.

I'm actually slightly disappointed in the amount of rain. We're north east of perth so the worst has past us according to the bom. Hope it continues on like this at least or picks back up.

I wouldn't call it a storm myself. I think I would call it a good down pour. I heard the tiniest bit of thunder and saw a few branches sway but that's about it. I wanted rain, lightening, thunder and wind. I'm south east.

Yeah I saw 1 bit of lightening and we've had on and off rain but not even gusty winds - they must've been while we were out then passed.

    Big letdown!

They have done this over cautious thing since that storm 2 years ago. It's just getting annoying now. Plus dp has insisted we go north for the July school holidays for about 3 years now. I miss my storms so he can get his hot weather!

But rain for the next 7 days according to channel 7.
