You are better off knowing than being in limbo. I think you should test again and go to see your gp for more bloods. I have everything crossed for you.

I have had strong AF type cramps since a week before I got my BFP. Its actually what triggered me to test as each day i thought it was definately coming but when i checked there was not even a pink tinge in cm. And I'm 5w3d and still getting them, no spotting or excruciating pain. Dr seems to thinks its completely normal in my case and especially in first pregnancy.

Thanks ponytail for your input. It's good to hear that the cramping may be normal. I keep tryin to think positive esp cause I'm not bleeding at all and having pg symptoms still. This morning my nausea was really strong and almost made me pull over when I was driving. Also I noticed this morning that I was drenched in sweat which is not normal for me at all. So I'm really hoping things are still happening in there and starting to think that I may have miscalculated my O date

Fingers crossed for you jaydensmum. Did you go to Emergency? Who told you that you were having an early miscarriage, and did they know for sure? Sounds like they could have been wrong... I will keep my FX for you. x

But don't you still have to bleed at some stage?

I'm really hoping it's not all bad news, but in response to comments - a little one can pass weeks before any bleeding is present. The last pregnancy that I lost I didn't bleed until after the D&C.
On the other hand - I've had bleeding and light cramping for a month in pregnancy and now have a very loud and energetic 19mth old.
The best way to know would be bloods (hcg) taken over the course of a week.
