Hi all update for me, saw Dr M and he's increased my prednisone to 35mg and wants me to take a 25mg tab in morning and 10mg in the afternoon (nil at night) stick to 40mg clexane and continue with 400 progesterone 3xp/d.

No intraplids at this stage, see how we go next week with a follow up BT on Wednesday to check levels - and again the week after - he was a little concerned with my spotting but not overly concerned if you know what I mean. He has however given me a medical certificate for the next week to try and ease/stop the spotting - just as well I've got a lot of sick leave up my sleeve 😄😄😄 so were still in the game - just got to take it easy and I am able to take magnesium tabs if needed for my cramps

    Hey Lissy

Take care & rest up I was in exact same boat where I had a threatened miscarriage at 8 weeks. Just try limit what you do & try stay positive. i was on bed rest for a week & it's soooo hard not to do anything maybe get a good book...
Everything will be fine it seems your specialist is on to it & Dr M has you on increased doses - I think I went up to 40mg of prednisone & I also reduced my clexane for a few days down to 20mg.
prayers are with you & bub!

Lissy - How great you got to hear the heartbeat, it's good to know that your specialists are onto it and sound like all you can do is rest and people take care of you.
Crofty - Rest up! Hurrah for lots of sick leave.

I know I said before that the presisolone has made me feel great, but I have another reason to love it. I did a HPT this morning and it's positive! I am feeling so lucky, blessed and looking forward to getting official confirmation before I can scream too loudly....(omg omg omg)

Kiwi, I've been put in something called cyklokapron to help repair the tear/rupture that fs could visibly see on the ultrasound, so it doesn't continue to tear towards where the placenta is growing. Were you put on any anything like this? Also upped progesterone to 4 x 400 pessaries, and upped progynova & provera. I think I'm put on the cyklokapron as he wants me to stay on 60mg clexane, it kinda helps heal the rupture for people who may bleed easy but only targets the tear (well that's my understanding). The tear is parallel to where the amniotic sack and baby are, so not ripping towards it ikywim, which is good. Did your doc see an actual tear/rupture or did you have unexplained bleeding? (we can get that apparently due to the clexane). It might explain our different treatment for it.

Bleeding has stopped, only little bits of brown dark stuff in the crinone still coming out, fs says this may be from 1-2 days ago. Very glad no red blood today

Thanks for all well wishes!! I'm resting up and so lucky to be looked after so well by hubby & family🙏

Thanks Ladies! BT is Tuesday, I think a day later causes of the holiday. So I am 8dp5dt....The line was pretty dark, as dark as the control
Lissy - Gosh that's scary but sounds like everyone's on top of it and you've got good stuff to help fix it. xx

    Hey Lissyloulou

When I first started bleeding it was unexplained but then when I had my threatened miscarriage & passed a clot the second scan showed a rupture outside the sac like you - wasn't put in anything else just told to rest and it would heal itself, plus told to reduce clexane as it was a blood thinner.
different docs recommend diff things - good to hear your bleeding has calmed down.

Yellow bird Congrats in your positive result!
    Awesome news.

Bella - will join FB page, do you need to invite me?
Go for my 20 Week scan on Weds - Belly slowly growing which is cool still don't think I've felt lil chilli move yet maybe a little bit but not 100% sure if it's actually the bub or just gas

Hi to all the other ladies!
