Hi April, thanks for checking in with us! I respect you have made the big decision to stop trying and are peaceful with that. It must be liberating to move on and take a fresh path. Lots of love, flowers

Flowers - lots of luck and positivity for your BT today!

Hope - we decided to go straight for IVIG as we are doing a PGD cycle which we've waited 3 months for and wanted to throw everything at this cycle. I toyed with doing intralipids, but decided I would rather spend the money on IVIG than hate myself afterwards if it didn't work and thinking "if only". Apparently the IVIG also helps with the Th1/Th2 ratio and we didn't have time to do the LIT, so that was another reason. It was a big $$$ decision though, so hoping it will do the trick.

Good luck for Monday, sounds like your FS is totally on board with everything which is wonderful.

I will stay on it all as I feel so good, massive improvement for me mood wise and energy level wise since taking it all over 12 months ago. I used to suffer a lot with depression, anxiety and fatigue, and it has improved drastically. I think if you have a severe deficiency you will notice a difference. The prednislone also helps the fatigue though lol

Yes, exactly ...just booked first scan for next Friday, will be 6w4d...fs likes you to be 7weeks, but the Monday is a public holiday. Nurse said not to panic if we don't see/hear everything we need to and that we would just come back a few days later, but hopefully will be all good on Friday

Hi ladies, does anybody know what Dr M's standard dose of Dexamethasone is prior to EPU? I am meant to commence this today. Gwen was going to get back to me yesterday but didn't. I phoned the clinic today and both Gwen and Dr M are away

Hey hope, not sure about the Dex sorry as I've never been on it...I am shocked that in all of those cycles you did that you were never put on clexane?! I remember being put on it way back after my first failed cycle I think just as an extra thing to try to help, just 20mg. Seeing as you've never been on things like clexane I'd be tempted too to try the intralipids first as a trial run as wazza will have you on so much stuff you've prob never tried too (at least not at same time). But i can also see what litefantastic is saying about the ivig, it's hard to know, but sounds like you are prepared to go through a couple more cycles if need be after a long break, so maybe worth a shot at both ways? I assume you're on all the other bible stuff like aspirin, zinc etc?
So I guess this all means that your eostrogen levels came way down?! Woohoo!!!!😀
Do you know the prednislone equivilant of Dex you should be on? Could you call wazza's nurse as he might have noted it in your file?
