I love pea and ham in the slow cooker, i just a packet mix.

The Donna hay magazine this month has some nice looking soups that take 20mibs. Going to try a couple out this week

Tonight we did chicken leek and mushroom, with sliced onion, garlic, tarragon, potato, pearl barley. Added a dash of olive oil, salt, pepper and worcestshire sauce. Ended up more as a stew.

I love chopping up all the ingredients and having a glass of wine while I do it and throw it all in. So easy and so nutritious.(not the wine)

Sounds yummo! Do you mind sharing the recipe?

Right this very moment i have pumpkin, onion and garlic in the slow cooker. Will add some lemon juice when done and sour cream for the kids.

Otherwise, minestrone or potato and leek are both good.
