Talking Peter pan is back!!!!! :)

    oh my

anyone out there LOVE the good old disney movies??? I had no idea that Peter Pan was at the cinema at the moment!!!!

I took my boys to see Peter Pan yesterday (sadly - they had never seen the original animation?!! ) and they had a great time

I dont know how long it has been since I've seen the original Peter Pan ... but it has been YEARS!!!

If you do want to take your little ones (or heck .. go on your own .. rofl) you better hurry - apparently its only screening on Saturdays, Sundays and Tuesdays at 10am at Hoyts (ONLY Hoyts) at Stafford, Sunnybank, Tweed and Redcliffe until June 5.

Its amazing to look back at how the older movies were made ..

my boys haven't stopped twitching (tick tock style, like the crocodile does throughout the movie lol) since seeing it ... so it clearly made an impact

    xx

Yes! We saw it last Sunday! We have been reading the book to 2.5 year old DS a few times a week for the last year! the disney one so the illustrations were from the actual movie)

I was worried he wouldn't sit through the whole movie but he did! He was mesmerised and kept yelling at the movie like he does at the book " look out Peter, oh no poor tinker bell!"

    oh thats so cute

I had no idea it was coming back to the big screen ... it was great to see it at the movies. I was honestly surprised though, it felt kinda short? I dont know if I'm used to really long movies .. lol

there were lots of kids in the session that we went to - so there were lots of questions being asked throughout the film lol.

I like that they bring back old movies to the big screen- I think there should be more of it! nd not just Disney movies, though that is a great start.. But classic blockbusters too. Who doesn't like saying to their kids "well, sure... It doesn't look much compared to today's standard... But when i was a kid, ET was the best thing we had ever seen!!"

"You aint never had a friend like me!"
I had the Prince Ali song stuck in my head for about a week after we watched it though
