It'll be a very tight squeeze! My Magna is pretty wide, wider than a Laser I think, and I have 2 front facing and one rear facing seat and there is no room between!
There are some narrow seats you can get though!

    Hope it all works out!

There are a few narrow car seats on the market which might be suitable for you. The Safe N Sound Compaq is the most popular but a cheaper alternative is the Infa Secure Neon/Kompressor XT (Honestly don't know why they have different names, Infa Secure are a bit strange with names).

Different stores have different names, the Kompressor has nicer fabric.

Are they RF or FF? As pp has said, the Compaq or Neon/Kompressor would work great. The Kompressor is pricier than the Neon and although has the same shell, the base is slimmer which may work better for you.
They're both on sale right now, $128 for the Neon at Big W and the Kompressor is about $250.
