I have T1D and had a scan at 34 weeks and our bub is 2.4kgs. We got told that was 60% percentile. My Obs said its perfect because with diabetes you have two potential issues, either the large or alternatively when the placenta stops working and the baby stops growing so being in the middle is great.

I didnt get any estimates on expected birth weight but our baby is arriving at 38 weeks so wont be too long before we find out..

My scan at 34 weeks estimated 2.2kg bub. My bub is smack bang on the 50th percentile line and perfectly 'average' size.

I also have strictly diet controlled Gd

Just an update. My 32 week scan was spot on for weight. We were told she'd be 4kg if born at 38wks. She was born at 38wks +2 days weighing 4kg!
