I've changed my children on the ground many many times, not sure if I've done it on a footpath specifically, but definitely on grass, concrete, etc in many different places (like parks for example), and most probably a footpath at some stage. I didn't realise it was so disgusting. I also let my babies crawl around on the ground in public places. Whoops! I remember my daughter when she was walking, but still had to use her hands to get up stairs, we were at the footy at Vic Park (Collingwood home ground) and she was climbing the stairs and kissing each one as she crawled up it, and a Collingwood supporter exclaimed how loyal a C'wood fan she was kissing their home ground! (which she isn't lol).
Oh well, not a big deal to me and my kids don't get sick much so it mustn't causing too much harm!
Perhaps im more paranoid as I look too closely at things. As for toilet floors I was thinking of posting a separate thread but can't be bothered now. In summary I've lost count of the number of times I've gone into a toilet (work and public) and there are little drops of blood on the floor and/or toilet seat. Some people are so lazy, sloppy and gross, makes me gag!
I think about all the times I've forgotten to wash/wipe DS hands after he's been in a shopping trolley or after he or i have handled money then held his hand or when he pushes the elevator button or even worse those play centres - his bum on concrete for a minute would probably be better!
Poor form in my opinion. The amount of pigs that put there dirty cancer sticks on the floor!!! And the amount of weirdos that spit there flem on the floor... so sick why would I subject my child to that if I wouldn't even sit my dressed *** down on the foot path? Makes me think of little kids walking around shops/foot paths/ carparks yet there parents have shoes on?
