    Default Toilet cleaning help ?

    Ok so usually I just give the toilet a scrub and flush but I'm wanting to bleach it and clean it mega clean my question is how do I get the water out f the bottom if that makes any sense????

    You can't, otherwise the whole smell of the sewer will come wafting into your house. The 'S' bend keeps water in it so that there is a plug between your air and the sewer air.

    If you turn off the tap that fills the cistern, then flush a few times, it should drain it away.

    I wouldn't bother though. If i want to give the toilet a good old clean, i chuck some napisan or bleach tablets in on a day when we are going to be out and let it soak and scrub it with the brush when we get home.

    Weird. It's always worked for me. If the water is off and you keep flushing, there is no water left to refill the bowl.

    I left some bleach in there for a few hours scrubbed and flushed but decided to give it another.
    Turned the water off flushed a few times most of the water went away then I used a old container to get the rest out
    Bleached it again and it's like brand new
