Default If you had to choose....

    Which one would you pick

    Ava Viola Rose

    or

    Ava Melita Rose

dh likes viola more (it was actually a compromise, i wanted violet cos it is my twin sisters middle name- she died just before we were born. But dh wasnt so sure about using a name that reminds people of a deceased person. As a sorta joke i said viola and he went for it (men!!) so we agreed until the baby book opened on the page it had melita on. I fell in love with the name instantly.

dh likes melita but i love it and am leaning more towards melita cos i worry that viola might get some fynny reactions.

what do you think about the names (honestly)

Personally I don't like two middle names.
Both choices are nice though, but my friends surname is viola so for that reason Itthink I prefer melita.

I actually think Violet would be an amazing middle name considering the circumstances. I have Violet on my middle name list as it's my grandmother's name, but we also have a pet chook named Violet so not sure if we'll use it.

I think Ava Viola Rose sounds better, but they both sound nice to me (and I love 2 middle names for girls!).

I like viola but I also imagine she'd be part of an orchestra...
Melita is nice but I keep thinking Assassins Creed when I read the name... lol

I like Viola best but it doesn't flow well with Ava. Ava Rose is pretty but so popular. Sorry

    Viola.

Melita isn't a pretty feminine name, it sounds like a brand name for something random (I dunno, engine oil or something... lol). It ruins the prettiness of Ava.
