And sheep who follow the herd. Grr. I've read more about vaxxing than I care to admit. So typical - when you don't actually have any evidence or anything to back up claims, you attack the other side in the hopes that no one will notice!!

Good lord, what a nutter. WC was in natural decline before the vax? ah huh, that's why when herd immunity drops in certain areas we have outbreaks where babies die. Gotcha and measles is good for health?? I get that the body forms a natural immunity after the illness, but measles can have dire side effects, especially rubella in pg.

This woman needs her mouth permanently duct taped. it goes beyond free speech where her words are causing people and their children to get sick bc of blatant misinformation.

The standard ad hominem attacks. Awful.

Yeah, I've seen homeopathy in action...doing absolutely nothing. Where is her evidence that it cures rotavirus in minutes?!

I don't normally reply to these threads but I read this this morning and it made me so furious!!
And some of the comments on the herald sun website by anti vaxers are just as ridiculous.
The fact she thinks whooping cough is 'just a breeze'. Grrrrrrrrr.

I can only say OMFG!!!! People like her should be held accountable for their actions. The part I found disturbing (well the whole article actually) was how she boasts about turning hundreds of parents against vaccines. Why on earth would people trust the word of a nut job like this???

I have an idea - maybe she should go sell her book in a third world country and see how many parents she can convince to raise a vaccine free child. Good luck with that love.

I think it's the responsibility of publishing companies to not print and sell such books that spread medical mis-information that could harm a child. There will always be people who don't believe in vaccines, who believe in their own research and conclusions, but then when a company gives them a platform to spread that information; that's wrong. This proves how mis-informed some parents are when they ask people like that for advice, read this type of literature and call that research.

I'm speechless. It's very scary that someone like that is influencing people.

The part that sickens me the most is that she is playing down and trivialising these VPD's. Whooping Cough is not 'a breeze'
