Default How much does your childcare actually cost you?

After CCR and CCB, per day? And where are you based?

The differences seem to be vast!

Mine is $75 per day and that's inner Melbourne, pretty much in the CBD.

That's based on $125 per day which for three days a week, paying 50 weeks a year is $18,750. The rebate is max $7,500 so our out of pocket is $11,250, or $75 per day for 150 days a year.

Three kids in an outer suburban centre $62 a day out of pocket- that's after CCR and CCB so once I'm back at work it will cost us $186 a week for care

I pay about 650/fn for two children. One in 3 days and the other 2. This is after ccb. I get ccr back yearly at tax time.

It works out to about $30 per child per day after all rebates. I'd never put them both in care more than 3 days a week as its just not worth it.

    Outer suburban Brisbane.

$110 per day x 4 days a week = $880 per fortnight then after the ccr it costs $440 oop per fortnight. But the ccr reached it's limit in March so I'm paying full fees for the remainder of the financial year.

$180 per week $36/day after ccr or $400 per week $80/day before. That's for 5 days. Redlands area
