Can I join too? Planning on TTC later this year but I've put on a kg each year since I got married so just want to feel a bit healthier.

    Stats-
    Weight - 63kgs
    Height - 162.5
    Goal weight - 59.999999

My food isn't too bad, I just struggle with exercise, especially over winter.

I work 2 jobs so its hard to fit in everything. I also dislike running due to knee injury.

My plan - weights session at work 2 times/week, 30 min walk at work 2 times/week plus I think I'm going to chuck in 50 push-ups and 50 squats at least 3 times/week.

    Evening ladies,

So food wise I went ok today. Had my breakfast smoothie for breakfast, didn't eat lunch which was very naughty but I just didn't have the chance. Then I had a homemade healthy beef curry with culiflower rice for dinner.
Unfortunatly I didn't do any exercise today, was meant to do 45mins of strength training but it didn't happen. My 3 month old is cutting a tooth and he was just miserable all day and didnt sleep much last night so we were both exhausted. Will have to do both my 1 hour walk and my strength training tomorow i guess.

My aim is to walk 1 hour 3 days a week (pushing a 30kg double pram) and do 30 - 45 mins of strength training 3 days a week and have 1 rest day.

My goal is to get to 62kgs which is my pre pregnancy weight, as of today I am 68.3kgs down from 74kgs.

how did everyone else go today?

About to head to bed. Food wise I was good but no exercise. My 5 year old was begging me to do
Insanity with him (crazy kid loves it) - told me I need to exercise to be strong so he motivated me to do it - 8 mins in to the DVD I was doing butt kicks when my 2 year old walked up behind me and I didn't realise until it'd clocked him in the forehead and he fell to the ground howling. Poor lil monkey. ... So I guess you could say I did 8 mins of exercise. Lol

I'm all prepped for my food tomorrow in case I get a work day (supply teacher Tues/Wed permanent year 1 teacher Thurs/Fri). Hope you are all feeling good about the start of this challenge 5 weeks 6 days to go

Not real great on the food side but not terrible either. No chocolate or ice cream so that is a win. And no exercise. So not the greatest start but tomorrow will be better.

lol.. yeah, I told him tonight. The thing is, he has been promising to cook me dinner for months now () and he finally decided to make it tonight! Typical..haha.

Overall, today was not too bad; I managed a 30 minute walk, weightloss shake for breakfast, cottage cheese and cherry tomatoes on corn thins for lunch... then that carbonara for dinner.. lol..

    Ahhh... BRING. ON. TOMORROW!!!

Up and go for breakfast this morning. I've got 2 bananas and some popcorn for a snack and a salad and beef wrap for lunch.
My biggest problem is I work shift work and its hard to eat at the right times.
I cant exercise while im on day shift, which is only 7 days a months but ever other day I walk my two dogs at lease 4.5km
    Good luck to everyone else.

counting down to TTC October 2013

Morning everyone, I didn't have too bad a day yesterday, although I did have to polish off some lindt choccies I got for mothers day so they aren't in the house anymore (and no, I'm NOT going to disclose how many I ate ). I don't keep junk food in the house for this reason - I have no self control and can't just have a little bit of this, or one of that, I always binge on it. My eating otherwise was pretty good.

Marigold - very sweet of your hubby (and exactly something my DH would make - laden with cream, bacon etc)! One meal isn't going to do that much damage and can easily be made up for
