Im back. Had my 12 week scan on thursday only to be told no heartbeat. D&c booked for monday. I had weekly scans from 5 weeks and all was going well. I just dont understand why this keeps happening. This is my 8th miscarriage now. They are sending baby off for testing. Sorry that others are going through this heartbreaking experience x

Thanks lilsmurfy. Ttc journey sucks. Some answers to why this keeps happening would be great. But so far everything comes up normal. I do have 2 mild blood clotting issues. On their own no probs but maybe together ate an issue but im being treated for that. An ivf doc said i have an allergy to estrogen but again treated for that with extra progesterone so doctors are stumped. I think they hoping they find a chromosome or genetic issue but since the miscarriages happen at different stages including a late term one they cant pinpoint one problem. As one ob said im a strange medical mystery x

Well I'm back in here. 3rd consecutive miscarriage. Now I meet the requirements to be treated for "recurrent miscarriage".
    I feel numb.
Well not physically numb - currently going through the contraction-like pains and all that jazz.
    But emotionally, very numb.
How do Ipick myself up after 3 losses and keep going?

Far freaking out @Sabochan. That sucks! This has been over a long period of time too hasn't it? Honestly? If I were you and had the money I'd get on a plane and go for a holiday. Give yourself some time away from all this. Hopefully you'll come back stronger and more refreshed.

Default Miscarriage & loss support chat #4

So sorry for your loss. Nothing anyone says will make it feel better, I've had 2 miscarriages within a year and it's just awful. It's true what they say though, with time you learn to heal (but you never forget) wish we could all give you a big hug right now!
