Thanks everyone just wondered if there was any correlation between low numbers and mc. Guess no bubba is safe.

Wish, I had huge numbers with our first, so much so the Dr thought we had twins. Go figure, we took home empty arms after our nt scan

With our angel last year, I believe they were within 'normal' range. I never got the numbers at the time but the hospital got my notes obviously for my treatment. Even 4wks post mc I still had levels of a 6wk pregnancy so they were obviously up there

As pp said, I would think more of the doubling time than the actual number as that meant absolutely squat for us

Firstly Wish, congratulations – I am so so very happy for you and I truly hope this is your take home baby.

With my lost angel – I had low HCG levels from the start – at 17DPO my level was only 69. They did continue to rise exactly as they should have which is what I was told mattered. I have no idea if there was any correlation between the low levels and the loss though.

Wishope, my Bcf were normal range at 6 weeks, on lower side of normal at 10 wks but told nothing to worry, then at 12 wks had more than halved.. While they remain rising wouldn't get too concerned.. I think normal is to double every few days.. If u r concerned , ask your OB what is normal for your stage..

Wish, my hcg was 162 on 15dpo and it went to over 8000 in about a week. The numbers didn't really matter as long as it kept doubling up. Don't think it's a guarantee though. My baby heartbeat at 7 week was 169bpm. A healthy heartbeat. I'm praying you have a smooth 9 months ahead. When is your first scan?

    Sorry if this upsets anyone.
With my angel I had very high numbers from the outset...
