I lost my baby in October 2013 at 5 weeks. I am mostly doing ok now, but it seems Fridays (the day I knew it was over), I struggle and am super emotional.
DH and I are still TTC, but my cycles are still all over the place since the mc and it's really hard not knowing what's happening every month.
One thing that is really annoying me is that it seems because I already have 2 healthy boys, I shouldn't be dwelling on the loss and to just "forget about it".
    Yep. Makes me feel "wonderful"
    Hi TwinnieMumma,
I hear you, it is very easy for people to say "you already have two healthy children, you should be grateful". They forget that you are dealing with a loss and it doesn't make it any easier whether you have children or not. I also lost my baby on a Friday (8 weeks tomorrow) and know exactly what you are talking about. I hope your cycles get back to normal soon and hopefully you will have a BFP very soon. Take care!

Thank you so much to all for your kind words, I do very much appreciate it.

In the midst of everything else going on this week I did get results back after the D&C - this confirmed the baby had Trisomy 8 and the report said miscarriage was inevitable. I feel sad to know things were doomed from the outset but take some comfort in knowing now that it was nothing I did wrong.

I hope everyone else is doing ok xx

Sorry for your losses ladies, it's so not fair hugs to each one of you xo

Ladies, I've read that a couple of you have had the remains tested after a D&C. Do any of you know if you have to be a certain amount of weeks for this to happen? I'm getting a scan today to confirm but I'm pretty certain I've had my second MMC in 7 weeks at 7 weeks. I chose to have a natural mc for my 1st one and was really happy with my decision as I did find some closure from it. But I'm not sure if I should ask for this again or get a D&C and some sort of testing afterwards to make sure that this second one still is "just one of those things" and not an actual underlying problem? How much does a D&C cost and testing of the remains, does anyone know please?
