    Default I'm late..but...

Ok, so here's the thing: i'm late. Like, nearly a week late now. My boobs are very sore and i feel a bit nausiated most of the time. And so i'm starting to feel a bit panicky!

I had a preg test in the cupboard and it said "Neg" but then i realised it was a year past its expiry.

I'm in the middle of nowhere (and dont drive) and cant get to either a doctor or a supermarket/chemist for another fortnight.

Is there any other medical reason for being late??

Stress...but with your other symptoms I'd say pregnancy was likely. Are you actively TTC?

    Hi

sorry you find yourself in this situation. As a pp said stress can cause AF to be late. In addition if you have not been eating properly that can affect things too. I can relate to how you are feeling as AF was due on Thursday and I'm usually very regular.

I would take a little comfort from the negative test as its possible that it is still accurate

Could you order some tests off the net and get them send to you?
There are plenty of reasons you may be late such as stress or irregular periods.
Good luck and keep us posted.

    Eep.
Have you lost more than about 3 or so kg in a week? (Or any other form of rapid weight loss. I missed two periods last year because I lost 10kg in 2ish weeks)
Are you more stressed than usual? (Work/relationships/misc)

Umm I know there are other reasons but can't think of them

Ok (**deep breath**) could definitely be stress/not eating properly. Although i havent lost weight. (I'm very slim though anyway)

I'm never irregular. I've been as regular as clockwork ever since having my first bub, and the only time since then that i have ever been late was when i found myself accidently up the duff with #2!

Buying tests online is a good idea, thanks i'll do that.
