There is a clear reason for this - it's because more chefs are men, because cheffing (new word) is one of the most un-family-friendly careers out there!

Its just like those (idiotic/clueless) guys out there who make those comments that most of the geniuses in history were male... Um hello, women were not permitted access to education until fairly recently!! Not to mention many of the brilliant ideas of women were stolen and published by men!

    Good point on both counts!

What about hairdressing though!? That one baffles me.

It's a ridiculous sexist idea. Disappointing. But not surprising. Rubbish television. IMO

You are all unbelievable. Perhaps it says a lot more about your own insecurities as women than it does masterchef. I believe Equality, but I also think that too many people lack the intelligence and confidence to have a laugh at themselves. Some of you are seriously hypocritical, being offended because I make a joke about hormones yet you all mock and directly belittle people. Mmmmm....perhaps you all should take a serious look at yourselves!!!

Ooh, I haven't even read this while thread properly and I don't think I need to to know that done parts of your pussy make no sense at all.

I fail to see how intelligence is related to the ability to have a laugh at oneself...I think there may be other personal attributes more highly correlated with the ability to take the **** out of oneself.

And on a different but vaguely related note...why is it not okay to write the word "p!ss" but pussy is okay? Why Bubhub, why? Are you pussy-centric?
