Northern Rivers One of them even said and I quote "I have never heard of anyone dying of whooping cough around here".

To be honest, I always knew my friend was, liberal - lives on a commune and the rest of it, I had NO idea that she was a conspiracy theorist...and it has freaked me out.

I've never paid attention to vax rates so it wouldn't make any difference to me

I'm not sure what you don't want to be part of? Are you saying you no longer subscribe to the principles of AP because some other people who consider themselves AP are bullies?? Why should that change how you parent your own kids? It's not like attachment style parenting requires membership and meetings attendance if the ugliness you refer to is select individuals you've encountered who attachment parent and are also asshats, that sucks, but the two arent mutually exclusive.
Whether or not we choose to vaccinate comes down to our own research and risk assessments, not to how we choose to respond to and care for our children.
I guess what I am saying is that I still believe in and practice many of the principles, but I no longer identify myself as an Attachment parent but I'm not going to go into that. Yes, I am well aware that being "crunchy" has NOTHING to do with attachment theory or attachment parenting but there are a lot of people who lump them in the same category, including a lot of people who identify as AP and seem to be extremely easily influenced. By the way, my areas immunisation rate is 88%. awesome

I finally was able to watch this today and wow. The stories. I cried

It pretty much just reinforced my belief to vaccinate.
