I was taking vitex for 9 days in a 50 day cycle when AF showed up, I haven't had any spotting but have only been taking it for about 2 weeks. I think it's helping my cycle so far but I will know this month if I get a shorter cycle or not. Good luck Proudmumma :-)

Thanks simmie. I'm sooo confused. I've been getting more than spotting once a day for the last 4 days but no real flow so I think it's going to start then next day nothing. Soo confused

im cd29 today my cycle is usually 28 days atm. Does vitex change the 'look' of your af. I have lots of pinkish blood/discharge (sorry if tmi) when wiping and no pain which I usually get, so not sure if its af. I dont usually get the pink blood. This is the first month of vitex but Ive also been taking vit D supplements - not sure if thats chnaged anything either. Any suggestions??

I've had a completely different experience. AF has been very light for me prior to vitex, this is the first month that I got a heavier AF which I feel better about. How long have u been taking it? A lot of the stuff I was reading said to give it about a month to see the impact it has.

Hans, i think vitex has changed the flow of my cycles but so far since being off the pill I haven't had any consistency with any of my cycles yet and I probably haven't been taking it long enough ... So can't be sure it's the vitex that's doing it!

I hate the uncertainty with cycles and not having any control over it :-(

There can be many reasons for pink spotting: low progesterone, implantation bleeding, pregnancy, maybe even chemical pregnancies (if they cause af to be a bit late) and I've also read that fibroids can cause spotting as can a sensitive cervix.

Are you cycles always 28 days exactly? Have you tried a hpt?

No blood nose but I find if I do t take the vitex by the same time every day I get a light bleed a little bit more than spotting but not like a period. Just like half hr to an hr of bright red bleed & then it goes away ???

Simmie: I've only been taking vitex for just over a week that's why I don't think it's affecting my cycles yet. I don't know if im getting light af or spotting (it's more than spotting). It could happen once in morning then maybe randomly in afternoon. I'm also feeling alot of cm too. I am sooo frustrated right now because do I record it as af? Or do wr dtd in case I o'd? Cause if it's af no way we are dtd. Done a few hpt but all neg. Getting a few cramps so maybe it's slowly starting?
