Have you been tested for progesterone levels?

B6 should help with spotting and may help low progesterone but if its really low you might need to take extra prog. Do you know why you cant stay pregnant? Definitely sounds like getting your progesterone levels checked might be a good idea.

I'm just wondering if anyone has had any side affects with their skin from vitex? I've been taking it about three weeks and up to 2 weeks ago I had extremely clear skin but over the last 2 weeks I have the worst skin. With very hormonal breakouts on my chin and big blind pimples and as soon as one goes down another appears! The only upside was the AF finally came after 10 days and I want to keep taking it until I seeing if this cycle is shorter or not. Do u think my skin will calm down?? I don't think I can handle it if it stays like this even If it regulates my cycle!!

Well hopefully this is unrelated then! I'm going to take it for the next 3 weeks and if if hasn't calmed down then I will stop taking it...

Ok so after feedback on here I've stopped taking vitex. I'm on day 8 of my cycle & tracking my bbt.

While taking vitex my temp was around 36, so ranging 36.1-36.7?

Today my first 24 hours without vitex my temp has dropped to my normal temp range of 35.2?

Does anyone know why this happens?

In response to pp my skin was clearer I think but I only took vitex for 7 days however my face was oilier when I woke in morning.

Simmie - I got crazy pimples when I started taking vitex around CD50ish the they disappeared once AF started and I stopped vitex. It could be because your hormones are changing you get pimples?

Because I want to see if they help my cycle I am taking them for the whole cycle this time. I am staying on top of the pimples with pimple face wag everyday and a special pimple spot cream that I put on at the first sign which is working well for me.

Bradybunch - I have also noticed I wake up with an oily face but not sure if that is vitex related or my hormones settling themselves after 10 years on the pill?

It is great reading everyone's experience, I am learning a lot more about B6.

yep have had progesterone tested an "apparently' its fine, but that's just through the dr. She told me if my prog was low I wouldn't even fall pregnant. she consulted a gyno after my last mc to see what tests she should run and I had lots but stupid me forgot to write them down. If I don't fall preg the next cycle Im going to get a referral to a fs. Hopefully they will find out for me. Im cd6 today and started B6 tonight
