    Default 6 1/2 months post huge PPH and still bleeding

    My daughter is 6 1/2 months old and I am still bleeding since having her.

    I had an emergency Caesar after 20 hour labour and suffered a nearly 4 litre PPH and had to have a balloon inserted to save my life and then had it taken out the following day. I had 8 transfusions and spent 4 days in icu. Thankfully she was fine.

    However I still haven't stopped bleeding, not one day. Having a D & C this week and an IUD inserted in the hope it will help.

    She was my second baby. First was also Caesar and I stopped bleeding after 12 weeks. They are 16 months apart.

    Has anyone else had similar problems? I am terrified to go back to theatre next week but so over the bleeding. I am so tired now and back on iron. Just want it to be over.
