I was bad and did a midweek weigh in and I have put on 3 kg!!! I feel like all my hard work is coming undone. I have a Dr appointment this afternoon to review how my back is going hopefully he gives me to go ahead to start exercising again because I have just over 4 weeks until we go on holidays and now instead of losing a manageable 2 kg I have 5 to lose!

Hi ladies.. do you mind if I join you?

I am TTC my first, am 32 and weigh 127kg. I started a new diet last Friday and lost 3 kg in the last week.

I will say it WAS tough but am getting used to it. And feeling so great!

Basically its lean beef, chicken or fish, vegetables and fruit. Porridge for breakfast.

So NO dairy, bread or wheat or even gluten free stuff, sugar, rice, potato, processed foods...

I sometimes feel like I'm starving but then I just keep saying to myself that its my stomach shrinking.

My new moto is "eat to live, don't live to eat"

We have been ttc for 2 years now and 1 year under a FS. She has been great but last Wednesday I went and saw an acupuncturist and he set up a program of massage, acupuncture of course, diet (as above) and counseling! Every week!!

So im hoping all this pampering and looking after me will result in mass weight loss and conception

    Good luck to all

    Hey everyone,

I just wanted to pop in and say that everyone is doing really well, even if you gain, getting back on the horse is a great thing to do. I am hopeless at posting in a group thing I have since worked out, but you have all inspired me and really I think I need to open a weightloss diary on the hub. So I can lay it all out there, no excuses or reasons to not excersize or eat well. Kind of if I talk the talk about losing weight, well I have to walk it too.

On a side note, I did 50 knee lifts in a row today in like a high jog. I felt like a sack of concrete smashing the ground but I did it. Only once but its a start.

Tomorrow I am going to try and do it 3 times through the day. And star jumps too. A couple of minutes every hour or two. It's bound to help. I hope.

Thanks everyone, keep doing a great job.

I was similar, I was going to the gym 6 days a week, 3 hours a day and I was a solid machine. But I broke my ankle and couldn't excersize, then moved states etc etc and just knew I would put on the weight, let it happen too and here I am 40kgs heavier and aiming to lose 60kgs.

I wish I stuck to excersizing, even if I did it less then I did back then. Better then what I do now and I wouldn't be this big.

I am looking to lose 30kg and I think I failed myself once before I think I am afraid I will fail again, so I am really making it hard for myself.

I need to get motivated. Once I start losing I will be able to prove to myself I can do it.

    We can all do this!!!

The last 3 days I've been doing half hour lots on the exercise bike. I'm on two lots a day (1 hour, mucho calories burned), but I'm aiming to go for 1.5 or 2 hours per day next week.

    Burn, baby, burn!

    I AM AWESOME!

    WE ARE ALL AWESOME!

    (Erm, caffeine overload, methinks.)

Ok so I am just going to wipe this whole week! First there was my lazy pizza night and today when DH got McDonalds I weakened and got a medium Big Mac meal and tonight we are off to a carnival and I have a big weakness to carnival food so I am not sure how strong I will be

Welcome RKK. good luck with your ttc and weighloss journey! That is a lot of food you have cut out of your diet, must be hard?

Well done to those incorporating exercise! Hopefully you see results soon! I love coming on here and seeing updates, it motivates me having a group to report back to!

Lifeinshadesofgrey: if you do start a weightloss diary could you share the link here or pm me, I would love to read it

The weeks come and go so quick and I'm still fat it's been 3 weeks since I started and I honestly thought I was in the right frame of mind to do this! I am happier with how I look at food now and I'm slowly making better choices and going for at least 20min walks every second day. I know why I didn't have a loss this week, af arrived 3 days early and that's why I was craving so much salty food.

    Hope everyone enjoys their weekend!

I hate when AF shows up too mummyrissa because I usually put on up to 3kg!

RKK I don't know how you cut all those foods especially carbs, carbs are probably my biggest down fall. Although I have cut out dairy as I am lactose intolerant, and if I didn't I would be in a world of pain.

AFM I start work again this week so I will be getting a bit more exercise in as I have to park far away from the hospital I work in, so I guess that is a plus.
