Default could my children have gastro?

hi if anyone could help that would be great ...the past couple of days my dd 11months has had rotten egg smelling burps, bloating and loose stools. she's also been off her food and not always finishing her bottles. I thought she might be coming down with a cold cos she had a runny nose, temps and been sleepy, but today my ds 3yrs has been showing the same symptoms...not sure if this is a "normal" tummy bug or gastro.

Could be, it's hard to say. If the loose stools were on the diarrhoea side of things I think it's possible! Either way it def. sounds like some type of virus!

If you live in Vic it's even more of a possibility- On Monday the Dept of Health Vic issued a general warning that there is a very nasty strain of gastro going around at the moment. My school has been sending kids home left, right and centre!

There is a bad gastro virus going around in Sydney too!
My DS also goes to daycare 2 days a week and we've had the bug twice in the past month! It's horrible! And the 2nd time around was much worse than the first! Fingers crossed your kiddies are better soon
