Bouncing on a fit ball is supposed to help, as is walking with one foot on a gutter and the other on the road. No idea if that works either.

If you work out what works, please share

    Nice bump dream girl!!

I think boy for both rainbow and choccie

Mcb - I know what u mean about money being tight... My contract at work only runs for another 8 weeks and I'm only part time (I also had 6 weeks off due to an error on works behalf with contracts) so I'm worried I'm not eligible for PPL anymore.. And baby bonus for 2nd time mums gets slashed in july so it's gonna be mega tight after all the money we've forked out for fertility treatment!!! Oh well, it will be worth it. I'm just praying I pick up a few weeks of relief teaching after my contract finishes

MCB- sorry you slept so badly. I hope the 19 days until your scan go quickly and everything at work is ok tomorrow!!! What changed your mind re. home birth?

Ms Faery- that’s a decent size bump for 22+5! Lovely. I still barely looked pregnant then. And I was convinced I was having another boy but was totally wrong and it’s a girl! So can’t say my scan confirmed my gut feeling!

Maybe baybee- glad to hear baby’s head is down. I am worried I will be breach this time!!! Going to do some forward leaning exercises to encourage her in the right position- if I ever get off the couch lol

Speaking of which- Lil Petal- I was also going to say do the exercises to get bub to turn. And yes there are specific pregnancy acupuncturists (I am going to one from 35 weeks to encourage natural labour to start on time) so this would be worth a go.

FTM- how exciting one week to go! I hope it goes well and you recover quickly. I can’t remember if you need to have a c-section for specific reasons or have elected?

Lil Smurfy- glad OB appointment went well and bub is head down! I’ve just had to start with iron and vit d extra supplements too.

Dream Girl- wow you’ve been busy! Lovely bump pic. Looks similar to mine at 27 wks.

K17- I am also really worried about DS being jealous of bub. Been reading about sibling preparation and trying to involve him as much as possible so he’s getting excited. Also doing things like calling it ‘our baby’ and getting him to pick out clothes and books he wants to read her. I am going to get him a gift from her and vice versa and make sure when he first meets her I am not holding her. Among other things!

Toni- yay for last day at work I am so jealous!

Choccie- I recommend lots of sex if you can bear it. This is what caused my
waters to break I think a few hours after. They do say swallowing semen is very effective too. Your OH will love hearing that one lol! Hope to hear good news soon!

    Woo hoo tonis that's great.

Bond how old is your ds? Mine is only 19 months old and will be 22months when bub is born so think he is still a bit young to understand. He is a really independent kid though and happily amuses himself so I'm hoping that when bub is asleep I can play with him and when I'm pew occupied he will be happy to play next to us or something. I will try involve him as much as possible too and he is at that "helping" stage.

Choccie I too recommend lots of sex it always put me in labor (just never stayed in labor) then I hyperstimulated when they induced me with the prostaglandin gel (which is also present in the males sperm) seems im sensitive to it.

Waiting - I hope you manage to get some more contract work before bub comes! If not, I am sure you and your DH will make it work as I know how much you both wanted bub #2 Just so stressful worrying about money on top of everything else.
I have applied for close to 30 jobs all kinds of contract work from 3-5 months so I hope I hear back from something all I need is to miss out on PPL but I still get the 5k baby bonus so guess it isn't too bad.

Thanks Bond Girl I am first one in at work today and hoping my manager is away (one can dream!) I had another terrible sleep last night, I have been sleeping really badly since being pregnant Guess my body is preparing me for many sleepless nights haha.
I haven't completely ruled out home birth, but I have decided on hospital first due to the cost of hiring midwives privately especially if I lose my job I couldn't afford it and also not having the full range of options at home that I could have at the hospital i.e epidural. I have booked in to the hospital and I should get an appointment to go in and have a look next week.
The hospital I want to go to does a 'holding hands' program where you meet and select the midwives you like and want and then they are there through your whole pregnancy and birth I liked that idea!

    - I hope your DS's taken the new arrival well! my sister was three when I came home and she loved having me; I was like a doll to her! she used tp tell everyone I was her baby.

Oh Choccie I was sooo hoping yesterday was the day - c'mon baby get out!!
I am sure you are trying everything possible to get the baby out so good luck and hope it happens soon!

Yay almost finished work Toni you must be so excited to get away from that place for the next 6 months oh and of course you know, having a baby!

Not much new with me; having the hardest time sleeping and still not feeling pregnant not even a little even my super sensitive nipples are gone Just hope it is all going away for the 2nd tri but can't help but to think bad thoughts!
Hope everyone is travelling well I am so glad it is Friday!!
