I am so so sorry for your loss darling. I lost my buba a month ago at 30 weeks. I know it's not the same but feel free to pm me if you like.

Do whatever you feel when you feel it. Eat comfort food, cry, sleep. You can feel whatever you like don't get caught up in how you should feel because other women have felt that way.

Be kind and gentle with yourself

    Huge hugs

Jenga - are you ttc again? This is a big question in my head at the moment.

We haven't named the baby as we are waiting to hear if it was a boy or girl (we were planning a surprise). I am not sure we will name it even once we know. Should we?
Absolutely your decision as to whether or not to give Bubs a name. Sometimes it could make it even harder to cope, sometimes it could give a sense of relief to name them. Take each day as it comes and don't apologise to anyone for how you feel. More of these xoxoxox

Thanks for your comments. I will see how I feel about naming the baby when we find out gender. Don't think DH will be that into it, he is a "get on with it" type of person.

I have booked an appointment with our fertility specialist as I am wanting to be pregnant again as soon as possible. Our IVF journey has been pretty blessed so far and I am worried our luck is starting to run low.

All I want is to be pregnant with a baby due in October but that isn't going to happen...

So sorry Bedlover it's a horrible experience. I lost our twins due to a staph infection as well. I didn't have flu symptoms but the night before I lost them I had really high fever, vomiting and the shakes. I went into early labour and delivered them naturally. They are the only babies I have had and the first time in a delivery room. I bet like you, I have no idea where the infection came from. So sorry you have experienced this as well. The only thing you can do is be sad for now and try again when you are ready. I had to wait 3 mths hopefully you can try sooner. We weren't going to name the babies but glad we did, I really recommend you do to give them an identity, they had beating hearts.

Rachael I can't believe this has happened to both of us. It is such a random thing, I keeping asking "how did this happen", "what did I do wrong", "what should I avoid doing next time" - and all the answers are the same... we will never know and it is just bad luck. Maybe it is more common than I realised, but my OB didn't seem to think so.
Sending lots of thoughts and prayers your way.
