It was still touch and go, but she made it in the end although the baby was premmie. I guess your fs has looked at all the reasons it might have happened so as to put every precaution in place for next time.
I had a staph infection which entered into my blood ******. My water broke just before I went into labour, my body was rejecting the infection and everything in it. My Ob will keep an eye on my cervix as he may put the stitch. Will PM you my FS.

I haven't read all the posts, but I have to say I agree with the theory that 2 can "help" each other. I have had 4 single blast transfers, 2 frozen 2 fresh and all bfn. I have had one double blast transfer (frozen) and got healthy twins. I am so sorry for your loss

No lissy Lou, we are done with the rollercoaster!
We have 2 DS through icsi, and I am 40 this year. I never got many eggs and think if I stimmed again I would probably only collect 1 or 2 per cycle, so not worth it for us.
I count my blessings that we have been successful and so lucky.
    Good luck to everyone here.

Good stuff moongazer! Always encouraging to see people it's worked for, especially when stimming and getting low egg count or egg quality as that is what I'm facing although I get big egg hauls (assuming you had a bit of a hard time getting eggs when saying you might only get a couple now)

Oh Rachel that sounds awful, I'm guessing that is like golden staph...which can be life threatening for you too. It sounds like a totally horrifically unlucky random thing then which will hopefully not have a chance to repeat again, but the cervical stitch thing might also give you a little peace if mind. I'm sure all the docs will be watching you like hawks when you DO have the beautiful children you and your husband long for hopefully sooner than later. Much love to you honey especially today xxxxx

Just saw this thread and thought I would mention my experience. I have done 7 cycles in total which I have 2 gorgeous sons as a result from ( my first and last cycles). We were also recommended for genetic testing but decided against as we didn't get many quality embryos.

5 blastocyst didn't work and 1 was a day 4. My 2 babies came from a day 2 and a day 3 embryo. I read that babies want to be in their mummies ( natural place so the earlier the better). This worked for me and might be something to discuss with your fs. Good luck sending all positive vibes.
