Default Best way to sell old clothes

I have about two dozen skirts and dresses that I want to sell. Not enough to get a stall at a market, too many to put them on ebay. I want to get a bit of money for them as it's half my wardrobe and i need to replace them! Any ideas?

Could you put them on ebay in bundles? 4 or 5 items max to a listing so postage doesn't end up ridiculous.

Otherwise your local buy/sell pages on fb.

My area doesn't have a buy swap sell. Otherwise that would be a great idea.

I don't really want to do ebay as second hand stuff seems to go for next to nothing on there. I want at least $5 per dress or it's not worth the hassle of putting them on ebay and taking them to the post office.

Thanks I'll check out Gumtree. Has anyone sold clothes on there before? Do they sell? I would never think to look on Gumtree for clothes.

I've tried selling clothes (new with tags) on gumtree but have had heaps more success on eBay unfortunately I find with smaller items you can get mucked around more on gumtree where as eBay they bid its to bad they own it.

Edit: in saying that you could give them a week or so on gumtree and if no luck then sell elsewhere and no harm has been done

I sold all my kidlets too small clothes on gumtree and it all sold I had 4 big garbage bags full but I separated them into smaller lots (plastic bag sized) ech bag had between 10 and 15 pieces and I sold each bag for between $8-10 depending on quantity. I took me 3 weeks I sold all of it and
    I made just under $240

But a friend tried selling hers and only sold a few pieces so I guess it all depends. But the good things is is free to list so you can give t a shot and see how you go without paying anything
