The surge was likely this morning or even overnight...as soon as the surge happens/peaks the levels of LH drop off very quickly and hence the light test later today. Hope that answers your question.

Sometimes it can drop off pretty quick after the surge. Mine tend to last 12 -24 hours but some women will get a pos then 6 hours later it's faint again. When it goes faint after a dark one you know the surge is over and the egg will drop very soon.

I also test 3 times a day when I know I'm close. I got a darkish but still neg test sat night. Sun morning it was a dark pos and by afternoon it wasn't as dark and by bed it was faint.

Temp down today and BFN so I think I'm out! One a one-way train to AF-town She isn't due til tomorrow or Thurs but I can feel her rumblings. We shall see when she arrives. I hope it's not today. Temp dip before AF last month was even bigger so I suspect I'll drop the rest tomorrow and see AF Thurs.

Becca - you had a dip today so hopefully it happens today.

Calstar - a nice even chart there

elswyth - hope the witch doesn't arrive. What do the squares mean on your temps as opposed to the usual circles?

AFM - got another temp increase today, so only 1 more increase needed to get the cross hairs
