When you ovulate you get a dip Vic, so looking at yours, combined with EWCM, CD17 seems to be the most likely. But usually FF needs 3 consecutive temp spikes to get the cross hairs - you have 4 but no cross hairs, weird.

AS to the OPK's bottom one looks positive. I use the cheapies too, and I actually think they are better than the expensive ones as they aren't overly sensitive. For pg tests you want sensitivity, but OPK's not so much. We have LH in our bodies all cycle, so sensitive tests will give a dark line half the cycle whereas the cheap ones I only get the dark line when it's the right time.

Hey ladies this is my first ever chart and Because I am pretty new I was hoping to hear your opinions on if/when you think I've popped out an egg.
    - day 18?
    - bonus points for anyone who figures out which 2 days I had big sleep ins!

At the moment Im fascinated about what Im learning via charting. How long does the fascination last before it just becomes a pain in the ar$e?
    - I think I may have a Luteal defect... I'm ovulating much later than I originally thought. Day 17/18, which is cutting it fine since I usually only have a 27-28 day cycle. A few months ago I had two months where I got slight spotting 3/4 of the way through my cycle.

Im not confident in my OPK's. Ive been using internet cheapies and find it hard to figure out if its a positive or negative. I got a negative when a more expensive brand picked up what I think is a positive.Attachment 37566 What brands do you all use?
Possibly even day 19. When you said you got spotting, was it around cd17-19? It could have been o spotting.

I think I would go by what the pink brand says. I used oracle fertility IC opks...i thought they were good.

The fascination never ended for me...

Vp I'd say day 18. I guess tomorrow ff will give you dotted lines.

Are you taking it the same time of day VP? bc there is a lot of temp differentiation.

this is a good example of the drop for ovulation then the spikes, this was last cycle. It's the 2nd chart down. I also got slight pinkish spotting the day before, and on ovulation day

I think it's really important to take your temp at the same time every morning, or as very close to it as poss.
I wake up at 5am every week day for work, so I set my alarm at that time at the weekends too. Wake up, take my temp, then go back to sleep. Then I know I have a fair record on my chart. The only time ill take it at a different time is if I wake up at 4am ish before my alarm, because I've just had my best sleep period.

So glad I don't need to do that anymore...

But even on days I woke up at the same time, some nights I didn't sleep as well as others and it threw out my temp. So be aware of that. A few unreliable temps won't usually affect your chart too much though, so if it only happens occasionally don't worry about it.

I haven't posted my charts for a while, so if you're interested: https://fertilityfriend.com/home/416e34

Hope so, but I have never had it before and I got s neg opk yesterday at 6pm. Does ovulation spotting mean I could have now missed my egg?
