Thinking of BD tonight and again on Friday. Do you girls think we should do it tomorrow as well, or save it for Friday for a better chance? Somewhere I remember thinking that every second day was best chance, but I'm getting impatient with getting the BFNs every month. Booked tickets to a night out at theatre later in the year as something to look forward to. Just need a babysitter now. We haven't gone to theatre together since the lion king years ago.
I read that every 2-3 days is best, if it's every day the sperm count is lower. We were going every 2-3 and hubby announced yesterday he was getting a bit sick of BD

We've been doing it every second night anyways. We are on holidays do we at the moment so we are very relaxed in that aspect. Lol.

Good o then. Thank you ladies. We've always done the every second day thing due to it being recommended when we were TTC our first, but wasn't sure if theories had changed or not. I just don't want to miss it.

DH has had a lot of work to do of an evening, so the BD has been around 11:30pm after getting to bed, so we fall asleep whilst waiting the half hour to roll over and fall asleep properly - it's exhausting. Pre-kids, it didn't matter what time and we could just lay in bed during the day/evening - so much easier - lol! And it's a bit of a worry that our 5yr old may all of a sudden wake up and tottle in during the night - only happens about once every month or two - but we know that it can happen - arh! DH remembers walking in on his parents - lol! They then taught him how to turn on the tv himself and let him watch the morning cartoons without having to ask permission!

Yes, if it's for baby making, then DH doesn't like it as much as he feels he is not being loved for the right reasons! I told him it goes both ways - it's not all sunshine and rainbows over here either!

Glad not to have been at it long enough to be suffering like that yet! DH is just glad for the extra at this point, I think!

And he'll probably be getting more because I think I O'd late last night (O twinge and more EWCM) rather than when I was expecting to a while ago (right time of month and EWCM before), so might have to reconsider a test date. Confusing body! I've never paid much attention to all that stuff before and I was on Implanon for 3 years so totally lost touch with what was 'normal' for me.

What a learning curve this all is!

But now we are having problems with both parts. On a brighter note rebecca, we were able to conceive naturally 4 times after our first, it's only just flipped back in the last year.

Sorry to hear you are moving on Jenjen.

CD16 here and about to go and do an OPK before having a hot drink. A nice day has just turned yucky here in Newy and was hoping for a nice walk down by the lake.
CM has only just started increasing and not by very much - hoping it picks up. A bit worried I won't o this month after a meds stuff up on my part.

Had another person ask me (in a nice way) if we were having anymore kids today. All I can say is "I don't know". We were so fortunate not to have lost the three we have. Just need to glue this last one in.
Thanks LT. It's nice hearing pos stories. I have lots of friends that have fallen pg so easily and even by accident so they really just don't get it. Some know we are trying and i cant help but feel like they expect an announcement every time i see them (only one person or two?). Its coming up to 6mo and they got their bubs first go and same with others in our group so 6mo to them is ages! That's nice of your SIL to offer. A friend at work donated her egg to her sister and now that baby is 21! I really wish and hope to be able to carry our own though but I'm open to all options in the future so long as we have a family in the end.

well here we are at cd19 and no O symptoms to speak of no change on clear blue monitor, Just BD before work as DH was too tired this morning, learnt from last month that being sulky and refusing a cuddle if not getting BD did not help my chances and just made me look *****y so thought well he knows today is a day he said he'd be able to BD so leave it up to him so after the nice dinner I cooked i went to watch tv on our bed so he could watch the foxtel and he followed me down dutifully to provide some goods lol. NOt sure if he will be tired in the morning or no so not sure whether to come home in the morning and expect a lil BD or wait till the arvo again. Said he may not be tired Friday night suspected O day but I know from the last 2 years after work its shower time food time tv and bed and nothing else cause he's exhausted so wont hold out lol.

Fertility specialists say it is ok to BD every day if DH doesn't have any sperm issues but if he does or thats unknown then best to go every 2nd day but if i hold out for Friday may not happen at all.

ON a site online it says if have sex every fertile day have 37% chance of pregnancy, every second day 33% chance of pregnancy and if only 1 day then 15% which is what I am at anyway as being almost 31 so may as well try to help the odds out lol.

Come on O tomorrow evening perfect or Friday morning when there is plenty of spermies ready for an egg

Question TMI - light spotting after BD after O?

Ok I have a question - sorry if TMI...

after BDing this morning (4th time in 4 days for O), I noticed some light pink blood with some semen mixed together. It looked different to anything I've seen before.

I'm concerned my cervix is too soft, or maybe irritated? It's obviously too early for implantation bleeding - has anyone else had this before?

I only rarely spot just before AF but I'm not due til 28 June, so way off!

Concerned and confused...really just want to fall PG and for bub to stick!!!

    It could be ovulation bleeding.
