Also, if you drink too much water you dilute it. I drink heaps of water and my last pregnancy never got a positive but did what I said above. This past cycle I got a positive but really laid off water that whole day (not just the two hours before). Hard! I get UTIs easily so drink heaps to keep that at bay, takes all my strength to not drink .

Not getting a positive doesn't mean you didn't ovulate, you may have missed or drank too much so it's best to make sure you keep at the dtd!

I definitely don't drink enough water so it's not that. I have been testing at 6pm each night. I guess it's still early. I'm just anxious as its my first cycle ttc.

They say it has to be as dark or darker because you always have the LH hormone, it's when you have a surge of it (needed to release egg) that means you're about to o.

Just keep dtd and testing. I think if you dtd every other day for around the 10-14 days of your fertile period you're bound to catch the egg at some point!

Sorry just the pregnancy one was an accident, the rest were just wishful thinking at different times of the day. A lovely member sent me a stack of OPK tests and I didn't realise I had any pregnancy tests among them, got a surprise when I read the pack
