I just got a faint line on an OPK on CD8. That is weird, right?

I think my cycles are going loopy... O is predicted for CD12 according to FF.

I always have a faint line. Fairly certain you always have the LH hormone but on ovulation you have a surge which is why they tell you the test is only positive if the line matches or is darker than the test line because that shows there's a surge rather than just traces of LH.

Oh, bless you! I have tested with OPKs before but only on the month after I stopped BC. They were just completely blank until I started seeing a faint line about 1/2 days out from the positive, darker line. I imagine my hormones have sorted themselves out a bit since then (Jan).

That is a relief that it's normal! Thanks again

It's in the normal range to ovulate as early as cd12, so you could still be close to ovulating. But mine always seems to have a faint line that gets slightly darker during fertile periods but still faint and then matching test line on ovulation. I ovulated cd14 this cycle when apps predicted like cd18/19 because I have a 30 day average cycle. They were wrong!

That's lucky that you caught it! Using OPKs?

I'll keep a good eye on it. Thanks!

Yes, got the dark line on the second day of testing! I also luckily get a lot of EWCM so can tell physically something is going on.

Good luck and fx for us all!
