Hi Laylapie, welcome and congratulations :-) I can't wait to be 12 weeks then I know for certain that everything will be ok While everything went perfectly yesterday and we saw a good little heartbeat, we are still at risk, albeit, significantly less.

Thanks I have my nuchal scan on Friday, a bit anxious about it, will be a relief to see baby then. The sickness I have had is quite reassuring, although frustrating at the same time!

Congratulations on the great news ladies. I hope you get to enjoy your special time now without any other major worries. Welcome to new over 40's. Nice to know there are plenty of us around. Let's hope we have a big list of good news stories on all our bubs this year. I look forward to following along.

He's coming back to check for lead in the remaining old paint. Soooo tomorrow we start on the new damp course to fix the damp, while all other projects again come to a halt. mymiraclebubba did you have a scan today???
Ours has been 7 years too MissLeo, though we only moved in this year. We love our cottage to bits but it has stretched the marriage at times. I thought we'd be all settled and lovely with the house finished, the kitchen garden producing lovely vegetables, and the freezer stocked with our lamb and chooks by the time the bubs came. Instead....I still have gaps big enough for bats to get into our bedroom at night and we keep rushing off our paddocks of lambs to pay for the renos!!!! I eventually decided to relax about it and accept that I'll just have to put off my photo shoot for 'Country Style' magazine for a little longer....

Hi everyone I'm 41yo and just got a BFP on our first attempt at IVF. This was actually our last EVER cycle of TTC. Like many of us 'older vintage' I have a history of early losses so I really hope this one sticks
